The County Assembly today took its oversight mandate to the ward level. MCAs led by the Speaker Hon. Dominic Rono visited wards in Bureti sub-county to find out the status of various projects funded by the County Government of Kericho. The tour began at kapkatet sub-county hospital before heading to the proposed Roret pineapple plant. The caravan later headed to Sigowet/Soin sub-county where they visited sweet potato pack house and Chebulu conservancy in Kaplelartet ward. A report based on these visits will be tabled in the County Assembly to ascertain if money allocated to these projects was utilized as intended. Kericho County Senator Sen. Aaron Cheruiyot was also present during the tour.
