The County Assembly led by the Rt.Hon. Speaker Dominic Rono together with the Governor H.E Prof.Paul Chepkwony and Senator Aaron Cheruiyot, met the Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya H.E Dr. William Ruto at his Karen residence. CS Charles Keter was also present.The MCAs had a meaningful discussion with the DP regarding development matters and together presented a memorandum of development projects in all the six sub- counties in Kericho County.
MEMORANDUM FROM THE LEADERS OF KERICHO COUNTY
Following a meeting held by the leaders of Kericho County, the following projects were proposed for facilitation by the national government, Key projects include:
- Improvement of infrastructure for Kericho town and Litein through expansion of towns;
- Tarmacking of road networks to improve on transportation and marketing of goods;
- Construction of dams to cushion the residents of Kericho County on water shortage;
- Enhancing employment for youths of Kericho County;
- Summary of key priority projects for Kericho County per Sub County

Expansion of Kericho town
- Multinational farm for expansion of Kericho town.
- Relocation of county police headquarters.
- Relocation of a prison at the heart of Kericho town.
