The conveners of the event congratulated the winners in what they termed as a close contest in all categories. They underscored the importance of researching, recognizing and awarding leaders at various levels in order to cultivate a culture excellence in public service amongst elected leaders. “The race was tight as the winners and the runners- up were separated by less than two points.” Said Dr. Patrick Njenga; CEO of the County Gala Awards.
