County Assembly unanimously approves motion setting the stage for investigations on alleged medical negligence at the Kericho Nursing Home

The County Assembly Wednesday unanimously approved a motion setting the stage for investigations regarding alleged medical negligence at the Kericho Nursing Home. Moved by Kapsoit Member of the County Assembly Hon. Paul Chirchir, the motion urges the County Executive Member for Health, the County Assembly Committee on Health Services and Kipchebor MCA Hon. Eric Bett to liaise with the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board

HOUSE COMMITTEES

Section 14 (1)(b) of the County Governments Act, 2014 provides that subject to the standing orders, a county assembly “may establish committees in such a manner and for such general or special purposes as it considers fit, and regulate the procedure of any committee so established”.
